As we summited the Haiku Stairs with the sun was peeking over the horizon, we felt like we were the only ones on this beautiful planet. That was short lived when a helicopter decided to spoil our euphoric moment. But it was still cool, so I snapped a picture of him. :)

On the day I took this photo, I woke up at 2am to climb the Haiku Stairs with my sister. After that exhausting endeavor, we headed to the other side of Oahu for some much-needed relaxation. We stopped at this beach, marveled at the colors, and took some quick photos. This shot reminds me of the immense sense of accomplishment we both felt after achieving a huge goal.

Hiking the most infamous Olomana Trail or 3 peaks as some people call it. This is one of my favorite hikes that I go to. Lots of climbing and breathtaking views wherever you look. Enjoy! P.S this is ME :D

The Olomana Trail is a hike up three peaks in the Kailua area of Oahu. The three peaks is a test of attributes. The first hike is a test of endurance 1.5 mile up a steep mountain. The second climb pushes your physical strengths, through climbing rocks and ropes. The last is all mental, it pushes your fear of heights and sketchy situations.

Started our hike at 3 AM to avoid security guards. Had some difficulty navigating through dense forests, but eventually stumbled upon the entrance to one of the most breathtaking hikes on this planet.

An epic day hiking Kau Crater on Oahu’s south shore. Today was risky with all the rain and clouds engulfing the crater and peak of the hike; it wasn’t till we got to the second waterfall on the way down that we got to just relax and wash off the thick Hawaiian mud. Here’s our friend and fellow Outdoor Junkie, Mia enjoying our little slice of paradise. Chee.

Mt. Olympus in all its glory. I was hiking directly below this shot on the ridge never knew how beautiful it would be from above.

There is something magical about sunsets. This was shot in Hawaii during the winter after a long day of surfing. I just love taking my time, breathing in deeply and gazing at the sun disappearing into the horizon.

A memory of our 2017 vacation at Hawaii’s most popular beach - Waikiki. There’s only one like it, where the long sets of waves allow even the most inexperienced to hire a Malibu Longboard and give surfing a go. So much to enjoy in Waikiki, even with it’s popularity. Somehow people get absorbed into the many hotels, bars, shops, tours and, of course, the beach and Pacific Ocean. We hired a convertible Mustang to tour the island - great day out! I love the the big banyan and the new grass they put in, and adding a touch of ocean just topped off the shot.

Heavy waves call to me. Just the raw power, awe and beauty inspire me. I happened to line this one up as some huge sets a back doors were coming through.

I love how the back of a wave creates these whisps and trails of white wash. Turning it up and down creates a very cool texture.

Our recent move to North Shore Oahu was the best thing we could’ve done. Within two weeks we ended up buying two longboards and surfing almost everyday. School and work seem to be an afterthought. The waves and silence of the ocean have seemed to steal our souls.
